A few tips seem to work for all seasons. Ideally, you are maxing your season "resists" as soon as humanly possible. That is how to get ahead each season.
A season officially starts 5 minutes after reset.
1. On day 1 of the season, reset your profession as soon as the season starts, and put points into season special skills.
2. On day 1 of the season, don't hit your doom walkwr first blood until the season officially starts.
3. On day 1 of the season, don't spend your bank of radar until the season officially starts.
4. Level up the season RSS buildings as fast as possible to level 15, and then switch to the next building. The season pass RSS building needs to be the last one you level to 15. After 15, level all RSS buildings at the same rate.
5. Hero tickets give season RSS. Opening these at the start of the season makes a much bigger impact than waiting until hero day or later on the season.
6. Have a builder ready so that you can construct the season buildings...
7. The season pass is very valuable early in the season. It is a recommended buy for a few weeks.
8. Hopefully, you have been saving EW shards and skill medals to max your hero of choice when the EW is released.
9. Typically, it is a good idea to save a base skin choice chest until you know which base is the select one for the season. Get that base of you don't have it.
10. Always upgrade the given hero from SSR to UR, even if you think that you will take a small power hit.
11. Save a ton of universal and troop speed ups for the season. If you are one of the stronger folks in your alliance, you will need to ability to replenish lots of troops quickly.
